The AHA’s BLS CPR course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED.

The BLS course is designed for healthcare professionals and other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic life support skills in a wide variety of in-facility and pre-hospital situations.

Heartsaver Infant CPR is for new parents, grandparents, family members, and anyone who wants to learn lifesaving infant CPR and choking skills.

You will receive a course complication certification. This program covers infant CPR, choking recovery for infants, and calling for help in an emergency.


Heartsaver CPR AED Course with Adult, Child, or Infant CPR

Heartsaver First Aid Course

The Heartsaver First Aid course trains participants in first aid basics for the most common first aid emergencies, including how to recognize them, call for help and perform lifesaving skills.

The AHA Heartsaver First Aid Course is designed for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a first aid course completion card to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements.


Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Course with Your choice of Adult, Child, or Infant CPR

Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid, CPR, and AED Course

The Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED course trains participants on how to respond to and manage illnesses and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives.

Our First Aid CPR AED Course is designed for anyone involved in childcare, including teachers, camp counselors, and nannies, who have a duty to respond to illnesses and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives.


Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid Course

The Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid course teaches students to respond to and manage illnesses and injuries in a child or an infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives.

The course is intended for those involved in child care who are responsible for responding to children’s health emergencies, including childcare workers, teachers, foster-care workers, camp counselors, youth organizations, and coaches for children’s sports. This course is also for parents, grandparents, babysitters, and guardians.


Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens Course
$20.00 | Course lasts up to 1 hour
The Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens course is designed to meet Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements for bloodborne pathogens training when paired with site-specific instruction.

This course uses the PACT acronym and slogan to help students learn and retain what to do when there is danger or has been exposure to bloodborne pathogens.


Family & Friends CPR
$20.00 | Course lasts up to 30 minutes
The Family and Friends CPR Course is intended for anyone who wants to learn CPR and prefers to learn in an instructor-led or facilitated group environment.

This course is ideal for community groups, parents, grandparents, caregivers, school groups and students, and others interested in learning how to save a life.


Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Course (ACLS)
$150.00 | Course lasts 4 to 8 hours
ACLS Provider Course builds on the foundation of lifesaving basic life support (BLS) skills, emphasizing the importance of continuous, high-quality CPR. This advanced course highlights the importance of high-performance team dynamics and communication, systems of care, recognition and intervention of cardiopulmonary arrest, immediate post-cardiac arrest, acute dysrhythmia, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes.

You must do the Precourse Assessment and Pretest before coming to class.


Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Experienced Provider Course (ACLS-EP)
$250.00 | Course lasts 6 to 12 hours
This course is for seasoned healthcare providers who are proficient in performing BLS and ACLS skills, reading and interpreting ECGs, and understanding ACLS pharmacology and who regularly lead or participate in emergency assessment and treatment of prearrest, arrest, or postarrest patients.

The goal of the ACLS EP Course is to improve outcomes in complex cardiovascular, respiratory, and other emergencies-such as metabolic or toxicologic-by expanding on core ACLS guidelines and encouraging critical thinking and decision-making strategies. Through instruction and active participation in case-based scenarios, learners enhance their skills in the differential diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Pediatric Advanced Life Support Course (PALS)
$150.00 | Course lasts 6 to 8 hours
The PALS course aims to improve the quality of care provided to seriously ill or injured children, resulting in improved outcomes. The PALS course uses a series of videos and simulated pediatric emergencies to reinforce the important concepts of a systematic approach to pediatric assessment, basic life support, PALS treatment algorithms, effective resuscitation, and team dynamics.

You must do the Precourse Assessment and Pretest before coming to class.


Pediatric Emergency Assessment Recognition and Stabilization Course (PEARS)
$150.00 | Course lasts up to 8 hours
The PEARS course helps healthcare providers develop the knowledge and skills needed for emergency evaluation and treatment of seriously ill infants and children. Targeted toward healthcare providers who frequently see critically ill or injured infants and children.

The goal of this course is to improve the quality of care provided, resulting in improved outcomes. Recognition of respiratory distress, shock, and cardiac arrest, appropriate lifesaving interventions to take within the initial minutes of response until the child is transferred to an advanced life support provider.


AHA-Instructor Course
$200.00 | Course lasts 2 to 4 hours
You must first complete the web-based eLearning course, which includes essential information for instructor candidates in the level for which they apply. American Heart Association instructor training is divided by discipline, allowing candidates to focus on the specialized information they need to teach in their chosen discipline. Instructor training courses are available in:

Before beginning the instructor training process, candidates must have a current provider course card for their chosen discipline. They must align with an American Heart Association Training Center accepting new instructors in their chosen discipline. American Heart Association instructor training consists of three stages. First, the instructor candidate takes the self-directed online essentials course in their chosen discipline.


Then, the instructor candidate takes the faculty-led, classroom-based instructor course in their chosen discipline. Last, a faculty member monitors the instructor candidate as they teach the first course.

Upon completing all steps, candidates receive an instructor card, which is valid for two years.
