Pediatric Emergency Assessment Recognition and Stabilization Course (PEARS)

Course takes up to eight hours to complete

The Pediatric Emergency Assessment Recognition and Stabilization Course helps healthcare providers develop the knowledge and skills needed for emergency evaluation and treatment of seriously ill infants and children.

Targeted toward healthcare providers who infrequently see critically ill or injured infants and children, the goal of this course is to improve the quality of care provided, resulting in improved outcomes.

Students learn recognition of respiratory distress, shock, and cardiac arrest and appropriate lifesaving interventions to take within the initial minutes of response until the child is transferred to an advanced life support provider.

Learn lifesaving skills!
